The way the two characters in the background are much bigger could suggest superiority and the intensity in the emotions of the characters could suggest that there’s romance in the film. The revealing dark outfit indicates lust, and sexual desire, as appose to the smaller blonde character’s light pink outfit which in contrast to this, could show innocence, which also contrasts with the title “Cruel Intentions’.
